Bringing stories alive

We were absolutely thrilled to have Carole Alldis and Della attend Dagun State School to present a reading of 'The Leopard Dog' during our Reading Celebration week.

Carole’s reading and anecdotes about Della brought the story alive for all students of the school.

The students loved having a real-live character from a book in the classroom and had the added bonus of asking an author questions, not only about the story, but also about the process of writing and illustrating a book.

Carole’s willingness to participate in our celebration of reading added a special element that students will always remember and we look forward to future readings of books as yet unwritten.
