Who me?

"Who me"? Della tried to hide an old bone in the Persian rug, her tail wagging
with excitement.
It's hard to believe that just five years ago, she limped into our camp, a broken
hind leg, skin and bone and her tail wagging with excitement, attracted by the
fragrance of a curry bubbling away in the camp oven.
As we discussed Della's fate over the campfire that night, we had no idea how
special she was about to become. Despite her rough start in life, Della has
become an integral part of our family, bringing joy and laughter to our lives
every day.
Now five years later, Della may be a whole lot chubbier, but she's still the same
happy and lucky Catahoula who devours her food as if it's her last meal. We're
grateful for every moment we get to spend with her, and we can't imagine our
lives without her.
Della's story is a reminder that sometimes the most unexpected things can
bring us the greatest joy. We're so glad that she found her way into our lives,
and we hope that her story inspires others to open their hearts and homes to
animals in need.
